XC Mountain Bike Races:
- Horning’s Hustle, April 11, NW of Portland, OR — UNconfirmed, this would be a good beginner, short race for those focusing on mtb. Same day as Icebreaker Crit. (185 mile drive)
- Mudslinger, May 2, $20 entry. Blodgett (Corvallis), OR. This is part of a 3-race series for junior MTB points. – CONFIRMED (155 mile drive)
- Chainbreaker, May 9, $11 entry, Bend, OR This is part of a 3-race series for junior MTB points. – CONFIRMED
- Spring Thaw, May 15, $15, Ashland, OR — UNconfirmed, depends on interest. This is part of a 3-race series for junior MTB points. (190 mile drive)
- Sisters Stampede, May 30, Sisters, OR — UNconfirmed, this race might not happen
- Short Track Races: April 14, 21, 28 — Wednesday local race series — CONFIRMED
- Pickett’s Charge, June 27, Bend, OR — State Championship? Same weekend as Road Nats — CONFIRMED, details forthcoming
Road Races: Time Trial, Criterium & Road Race
- Piece of Cake, May 28, $5 entry, Amity (Corvallis), OR — Confirmed, a good race, we will go if we have 4 in the van (170 mile drive)
- Kings Valley, April 10, Philomath, OR — UNconfirmed. This does not offer a junior field and the 4/5′s are combined into a very big group that will race 56 hard miles. The uphill finish is always very hard. (140 mile drive)
- Icebreaker Criterium, April 11, Eugene, OR — CONFIRMED, a very nice criterium course, there should be decent junior fields. I would recommend this over Kings Valley for most of our racers. Same day as Horning’s Hustle MTB Race. (145 mile drive)
- Table Rock RR, April 17, Medford, OR — UNconfirmed, a hilly course, decent size fields, no junior fields, but could be good for some of our racers. (170 mile drive)
- Central Oregon Race Series: Every Wednesday from April – August, either a time trial, hillclimb or criterium. We will purchase a season pass and do all events. Estimated Cost is less than $60 for the 15+ race series. See the calendar for more details. CONFIRMED
- FreshAirSport TT series, Thursdays in June, these are possibilites but we probably won’t do many.
- NorthWest Crossing Criterium, June 25, same week as Nats, but open to all — CONFIRMED
- Road Nationals, June 24 – 27, expensive event, TT is open but road events have restrictions, this is not a priority race for everyone — CONFIRMED
- High Desert Omnium, July 10 – 11, $15 entry, a Crit, a TT for sure, very good events for us, but maybe not the RR — CONFIRMED
- Vancouver Courthouse Criterium, August 1, $5 entry, Vancouver, WA — CONFIRMED, this is one of the best crits of the year and good prep for states.
- OBRA Road Race, August 7 and 8, $10 entry, Trout Lake, WA — CONFIRMED, this is an awesome race course, juniors will run the smaller loop, mostly flat to rolling, excellent pavement, a very nice Championship course.
- OBRA Criterium, August 22, $10 entry, Location TBD — CONFIRMED, Bill will be out of town
Cyclocross Races:
- FreshAirSports CX Series, 3 races Sept – Nov, Bend, OR — CONFIRMED
- Cross Crusade Series, 7 races Oct – Nov, Statewide — CONFIRMED, we will choose several of these events based on interest and location
- US CX Nationals, Dec 9 – 12, Bend, OR — CONFIRMED, this is open to all, not too expensive and the premier race of the year!
