Due to the high volume of cars, we have moved our Tuesday Morning 9 – 11 AM Meeting location. The Tuesday Afternoon session will continue to meet in the “old” location since it’s much smaller. From the old spot, stay on Century Dr. and continue 0.7 miles around the curve, then take the Left at the “Meadow Picnic Area” sign. This is just before the Widgi Creek Golf Course. Go down this gravel road several hundred yards and you’ll find us there along the road. This is a much safer place to meet and there is plenty of room on the shoulder to pull off and get turned around. Mini Bikes, Mighty Bikes, Freeride, Road and XC Teams will all be running at 100% starting tomorrow. Our programs are bigger than ever and we’re excited to see so many riders coming into the development track:

You’re invited to the Alpenrose Velodrome on June 17 for a full day of riding on the steepest track in the country! Friday June 17, 2011
The velodrome is an excellent place for beginner cyclists to develop. Track riding is quite safe and it teaches the basics of smooth riding, smooth pedaling, riding in groups and working as a team.  43 Degree Banking We will begin on the track at noon. Cycling Director Bill Warburton will be joined by experienced track coach, Zak Kovalcik, from the Diamond Law Cycling Team. He will go over the rules for all and help the new riders. Bill will take those who have experience on the track and go over some more advanced formations they might not have done before. We’ll have the track to ourselves till 3, then go take a break and return at 5:30 for some racing. The race fee is included in the cost and all are encouraged to race.
