Our Cycling Programs are based on three things, in this order:
- Rider Age
- Preferred Discipline
- Level of Commitment

Ages 6 – 12: Youth Development
- Mini Bikes: Ages 6 – 8
- Mighty Bikes: Ages 8 – 12
Ages 10 – 15: Wednesday After School Cycling
For all levels of ability. We focus on acquiring skills, exploring the trails, spending time with friends and improving riding fitness.
Ages 13 – 18: Junior Teams
- Cross-Country Mountain Bike (XC)
- Road Cycling
- Freeride Mountain Bike (FR)
- Cyclocross (CX)
For all levels of ability. These young riders must be self-motivated and willing to give their best efforts at practice. Riders sign up for their preferred discipline but we promote cross over between all disciplines throughout the season. We focus on teamwork, acquiring skills and racing is encouraged but not mandatory. Full-time Cycling Team members are eligible to apply for Tuition Assistance.
Ages 19 – 22: U23 / Collegiate Teams
For older juniors, U23 and COCC/OSU Cascades Students, our teams can provide you with the appropriate level of of training, guidance and resources to make sure you can develop as an athlete and racer. Contact Bill Warburton directly to determine which program is best for you.
- Cross-Country Mountain Bike (XC MTB)
- Freeride Mountain Bike
- Road Cycling
- Cyclocross – older junior / advanced practices at least once a week
- COCC Cycling Club – student run group rides, Academy supported races and trips
Camps, Races and Shuttles:
Our camps, travel to races and shuttles are open to juniors of various ages. Riders do not need to be enrolled in an Academy Program to participate in a camp, or to share a ride to a race, or go on our shuttles.
